We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at using both hand and power tools. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery and vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and vehicles to identify issues.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake checks, and tyre rotations.
Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and tools.
Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools and power tools.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in the workshop or on-site.
Qualifications
Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in a similar role preferred.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients.
A valid driving licence may be required depending on the specific role.
