WHAT TO EXPECT
Our Vehicle Engineering Team is looking for a talented Lead Engineer to support vehicle integration. This is an opportunity to operate at Programme level, making a difference to the JLR customer.
You\'ll get the chance to be close to our luxury vehicles and can work from home 2 to 3 days per week on average. Investment in your personal development and professional career is very much avaialble!
Please note that you will be required to hold a UK driving licence.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Lead the Integrated Test Plan (ITP) meetings.
- Coordinate issues raised from ITP fleet by internal customers through our Fleet Management System (FMS)
- Deliver Engineering Targets and Sign-Off for the programme.
- Lead on driven attribute development activities to demonstrate the attributes on our vehicles.
- Lead coordination of engineering activities to overcome incompatibles to meet programme milestones.
- Support activities during Prototype builds
- A UK drivers\' licence
- An engineering background where you have operated a programme level with specific experience of key vehicle systems and whole vehicle engineering
- Technical knowledge and experience of key vehicle systems and whole vehicle engineering
- Relevant engineering related degree or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with AIMS, RMDV, GRADE, Risk & Recovery plans, and Deviations to drive progression of these processes
