Job Title: Vehicle Damage Evaluator
Reporting To: Bodyshop Supervisor

Main Purpose of the Role:
This position involves preparing precise repair estimates for insurance companies and clients, ensuring that vehicle repairs are carried out efficiently while achieving a profitable outcome. The role requires independent management of tasks, with support provided to junior team members when needed.

Core Responsibilities:

Generate both manual and digital repair estimates promptly, aligning with insurer and client standards to ensure customer satisfaction. Procure necessary parts, confirm timely and accurate delivery, and manage returns of incorrect or excess items. Verify received parts for authenticity and suitability before organizing them for documentation and tracking. Maintain comprehensive records of all estimates, noting any work requiring prior approval. Ensure that no repairs proceed without authorization and follow up on outstanding estimates to provide updates. Communicate effectively with bodyshop staff post-approval to clarify the scope of work. If a vehicle is deemed a "total loss" by the insurer, inform the team immediately. Follow all applicable health and safety regulations relevant to the role and work environment.
Technical Expertise:
The required level of technical knowledge will be discussed and agreed upon with your manager or team leader.

Additional Responsibilities:
Due to organizational size and complexity, you may be assigned other reasonable tasks within your expertise by senior management.

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive annual salary up to 46,000 (OTE), including site bonuses, dependent on experience and qualifications. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role and ATA accreditation (current or previous) is mandatory. Experience with Audatex and Autoflow systems is advantageous. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.
