Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Van Driver/Labourer to join our construction team. This dual role involves picking up materials from suppliers, delivering them to various job sites, and assisting with general labouring duties on site. You will play a key role in keeping projects running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect materials, tools, and supplies from designated suppliers. Deliver goods safely and promptly to construction sites. Load and unload the van, ensuring materials are handled carefully. Assist with general labouring tasks on-site, including site preparation, moving materials, basic construction support, and maintaining site cleanliness. Perform routine vehicle checks and ensure the van is kept clean and roadworthy. Follow health and safety procedures at all times, both while driving and on-site. Communicate effectively with site managers, suppliers, and the wider construction team.
Requirements:

Full, clean UK driving licence (or relevant licence based on location). Previous experience in a construction environment is an advantage. Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials. Good time management and organisational skills. Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player. Basic understanding of health and safety on construction sites.
