We are looking for Van Drivers to join our client based in Reading on a full-time, permanent role.In this role, you will be responsible for delivering furniture to our clientxe2x80x99s valued customers. Our client, known for their exceptional service and high-quality products, requires drivers who are punctual, careful, and customer-focused. Key Responsibilities:

• You will be tasked with delivering a variety of furniture items to customersxe2x80x99 homes and businesses. Itxe2x80x99s essential to ensure each delivery is handled with care to maintain the quality of the items.
• As the face of our client during deliveries, you will be required to provide excellent customer service.
• This includes greeting customers warmly, handling queries, and ensuring satisfaction with the delivery process.
• Safely load and unload furniture items from the van, ensuring all items are secured and protected during transit. Your attention to detail will help prevent damage and maintain our clientxe2x80x99s reputation for quality deliveries.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies. This includes using correct manual handling techniques and wearing the appropriate PPE.
• Conduct routine checks of the van before and after shifts, ensuring it is in good working order. Report any issues promptly to prevent disruptions in service.

Requirements:

• Must hold a current and clean UK driving licence with no major endorsements.
• Previous experience in van driving, particularly in furniture deliveries, is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude are essential.
• The role involves manual handling and lifting, so good physical fitness is required.
