Job Description
The Best Connection are working closely in partnership with our client to source additional Day Shift Van Drivers (NOT parcels!) to work from their Middlesbrough depot.
The role:
- Safe operation of a 3.5 tonne vehicle (generally a long wheel base)
- Use of a scanning device (training given)
- Some heavy lifting
- The work is multi-drop of around 10 deliveries per day across the country
- Deliveries to business and domestic customers
- "B" licence with no more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsements
- Minimum of 6 months driving experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Monday to Friday (weekend over time as required)
- 07.00am to 17.00pm (delivery dependent)
- \xc2\xa311.56 per hour (PAYE) for first 5 shifts per week
- \xc2\xa317.34 after 5 shifts worked per week
- On-going assignments
