Job Description

The official, Government backed, tech arm of the Energy Ombudsman are growing their 30 person product and engineering team and are now looking to bring in their first UX hire. This hire will lead design practices across the businesses, helping them to standardised design and drive user experience across their products.

You will work closely with the Head of Development, newly appointed CTO and the wider product team to establish design culture and ensure business and user needs are aligned. You will be pivotal to how tech teams work and drive delivery and best practice.

Key project: as the tech team Prepare their CMS product to go to market and look at potentially white labelling as THE go to dispute resolution platform in the future. You will be leading design across this product and working with both internal and external stakeholders to create design constancy and ensure the best user experience is provided to their customers.

\xe2\x9c\xa8 Experience Collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into intuitive and visual appealing user interface designs.

\xe2\x9c\xa8 Advocate or user centred design principles and educate cross-functional teams on the process of UX/UI design in product development.

\xe2\x9c\xa8 Deep expertise in user research and end-to-end design processes

\xe2\x9c\xa8 Great communication skills, the ability to bridge the gap between users and senior stakeholders.
