This super family with 2 children aged 9 and 11 years-old are looking for a happy, helpful, confident and active Nanny/Housekeeper to start as soon as possible in April/May. The role is for 2 full days a week on Wednesdays and Fridays, 7.45am to 5.45pm (20 hours per week). Also an option to work a full or half day on a Tuesday during the school holidays.The children are at school most of the day, their school collection being from 4pm. The 11 year-old boy adores cricket and is very sporty and the 9 year-old girl loves arts and crafts. It would be fantastic if you were keen to play sport, table tennis, encourage creative activities with them. The family also includes a beautifully behaved black Labrador who needs (and loves!) a daily walk in the idyllic woods nearby the house. A car (automatic) is available to use for driving the children to and from school and their various clubs; activities and outings in the holidays, plays at friend's houses and matches/cricket training in the school holidays.Other responsibilities include xe2x80xa2 Cooking evening meals for the children (and family if easy to do a big portion) and lunch in the holiday, preferably from scratch so a good, enthusiastic cook would be very welcomed xe2x80xa2 Arranging activities/outings in the holidays xe2x80xa2 General errands such as returning parcels xe2x80xa2 Light household tasks (the family also have a cleaner 4 hours a week), including keeping the children's bedrooms clean and tidy, changing the children's sheets, children's washing, ironing the children's school uniform (and any other house hold ironing, minimal), keeping the children's playroom clean and tidy, running the hoover around on a Friday. xe2x80xa2 Walking the family's dog for an hour each day.The family are a busy household and would love someone with initiative to muck in and get on with things, and who has had good experience looking after older children as well as light housekeeping for families before.This position is for a sole-charge nanny/housekeeper, whilst both parents are busy working.Location of the job: Esher, Surrey.
