On the road to becoming a trauma informed responsive department, a local authority in the East Midlands is looking to expand their service by adding a number of advanced practitioners to their localities team.

The Localities/Fieldwork Team part of the Children and Families Service aims to create a safe, compassionate, healing environment demonstrated through relationships based on trust, respect, hope and empathy. As a plus, the team is committed to supporting and empowering our staff to be the best workers and have created a bespoke service comprised of highly motivated and specialist social workers with experience in both safeguarding and child in need which they want you to be a part of!

The pay rate is up to \xc2\xa340/hr and in addition this role is flexible and offers the opportunity to spend some days working from home.

Responsibilities: As an Advanced Practitioner, you will work with families under complex and challenging circumstances. Your role will be to develop and support the skills of newly qualified workers and other social workers thorough co-working and mentoring and providing supervision.

Requirements: We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for people with significant social work experience in children services. You will also need to be registered with Social Work England and hold a full driving licence.
