The Supply Specialists are currently recruiting for Youth Work Cover Supervisors to work in a range of schools around the Blackburn area.

This Youth Work Cover Supervisor role provides our candidates with the platform to work with vulnerable young people, support with safeguarding issues and have the opportunity to support some of Blackburn's most at risk young people.

Many of the students in our schools are on the cusp of the Criminal Justice System and susceptible to Child Criminal Exploitation and Child Sexual Exploitation, you can make a difference to keeping young people safe in our communities!

You do not necessarily need experience for this role, all training is provided by consultants who are experienced Head of Years/Designated Safeguarding Leads.

The pay for this Youth Work Cover Supervisor role is between 108 - 125 per day and we are looking for both full-time and part-time staff.

Youth Work Cover Supervisor Role Overview:

As a Youth Work Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, ensuring students remain engaged in their learning, and managing classroom behaviour in the absence of the regular teacher. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience before progressing into teaching.

Requirements for this Youth Work Cover Supervisor role:

Strong classroom management skills Confidence in leading a class independently A passion for education and supporting young people A degree or relevant qualification (preferred but not essential)
