Full-time, fixed term contract until 31 July 2024 - maternity cover

This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the University of Southampton\'s ambitions to recruit the very best students onto its programmes. We are looking for an innovative, creative and highly motivated individual to lead on, and engage with, activities which ultimately seek to improve the number and quality of applications to the University. These may include designing and delivering engaging and interactive workshops for prospective students and parents, representing the University at education fairs across the UK, and designing bespoke resources for teachers and advisors. You will be expected to take a proactive approach to effective relationship management with schools and colleges and other feeder networks, as well as with colleagues across our own faculties to support student recruitment.

You will be educated to degree level with comprehensive knowledge of the HE sector, ideally with experience of working in a public-facing role. A confident and engaging presenter, you will also have experience of organising events, be adept at achieving \'buy-in\' to new initiatives and taking an evidence-based approach to your work. Experience of developing interactive resources such as video and educational material would be desirable.
