We are looking for an experienced business development professional to join one of the fastest growing teams at eBay to be based in London. We are seeking a target driven experienced strategy and execution driver with demonstrated capability to grow business in agile environment. This role would be responsible for building strategy and operationalizing forward looking opportunities in UK Ads business such as new products and untapped seller segments.

Ideally from an advertising or ecommerce background.

Responsibilities

Own strategy and drive execution for delivering on Ads revenue growth targets for named UK seller segments

Own driving growth of new Ads Solutions - Formulate strategy and vision and deliver on plan

Own and build relationships with UK segment business leaders and teams to identify and deliver on opportunities for Ad business growth

Bring thought leadership on pitching ebay ad products to sellers/customers in different verticals and segments.

Partner with In-market Sales Leads, Partnerships Lead, Marketing, other GTM and Ads Product teams to find opportunities and execute plan in a matrixed set up for growing segment Ads revenue in UK

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

Extensive knowledge of digital media and retail media, including a minimum of 5+ years of some combination of Sales / Service/ business development leadership experience.

Strategic business growth planning: Develops multi-quarter and year plans that reflect an understanding of emerging opportunities, segments, and the competition.

Strong execution skills: A doer who can roll up the sleeves and jump into action for delivering on customer centric plans in a matrixed set up with dependencies and need to negotiate, influence and partner with stakeholders engaging with audience with different goals.

Team leadership: Experience leading, coaching and growing high performing teams

Strong Project Management Skills: A very matrixed organisational set-up with high dependency on stakeholders. This role needs someone with strong project management skills to ensure accountability and timely delivery of project plans.

Target Driven: Proven track record of exceptional performance, high productivity and meeting deadlines in a sales leadership role

Strong strategic thinker: Prior experience in developing and operationalizing joint business plans with customers. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the customer business and organisation, and works collaboratively to achieve solutions. Displays creative and reflective thinking and insight.

Communication: Demonstrates skills to engage audiences of all kinds. A genuine passion to inspire and connect, in a manner that is easy to understand about a wide set of opportunities.

Collaboration: Drives alignment across stakeholders via effective communication, measurement, organisation, and leadership.

Ability to effectively navigate through ambiguity, of agile environment and complexities of a growing business

Ability to travel up to 10%
