Tyre Technician

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tyre Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for providing excellent customer service. As a Tire Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles by maintaining and servicing tyres. This position involves heavy lifting and the use of both power and hand tools, making it essential for candidates to be physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Inspect, repair, and replace tyres on various vehicles, ensuring adherence to safety standards. Perform wheel alignments and balancing to optimise vehicle performance. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for tyre installation and maintenance. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and offering expert advice on tyre selection and maintenance. Maintain an organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use. Assist in managing inventory levels of tyres and related products. Follow all health and safety regulations while performing duties.

Experience

Previous experience in tyre fitting or automotive repair is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Experience with heavy lifting is necessary, as the role involves handling tyres of various sizes. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.

Pay: 23,524.00-26,000.00 per year
