TREATS is an in-house developed treasury trading system running on an iSeries platform from multiple global data centres. It supports front to back processing of treasury products such as Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Vanilla Derivatives and Fixed Income.
In this role you will:
Lead the UK TREATS team and work closely with the global TREATS team to deliver change to the TREATS system in line with business priorities
Accountable for enabling the technical development of products and services
Work with Product Owners and DevOps teams responsible for the delivery, on-going success and continuous improvement of products
Accountable for ensuring compliance of the products and services with mandatory and regulatory requirements, control objectives in the risk and control framework and technical currency (in line with published standards and guidelines) and, with the architecture function, implementation of the business imperatives
Line management duties for UK based resource across two locations (London and Sheffield) including performance reviews, pay reviews, Clarity timesheet submission/approval, annual leave approval, mandatory training adherence, GIAM, recruitment, TREATS team member tracking updates, etc.
For major programmes, maintain budgets in GPDM, prepare status reporting packs, chair steerco meetings, etc.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
Must have proven experience working on IBM I operating system
Must have excellent industry knowledge of Treasury products such as FX, Derivatives, Swaps, futures, etc.
Knowledge of TREATS application (Or similar Treasury trading system) and understanding of the functions it supports
Project Management experience on large-scale IT projects and/or programmes
Background in SDLC, Agile & DevOps methodology techniques and documentation
Proven record of delivery in a change management project with good knowledge of front-to-back platform processing and interactions
This role is based in Sheffield and offers hybrid working.
