W&A is working with an international law firm based in Edinburgh to help source a Treasury & Project Accountant. Our client offers hybrid working.
This role will be responsible for a wide variety of treasury activities and will also assist with ad hoc projects within the group aiming to enhance the control environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Treasury:
Update of weekly cash flow forecast, assist with upgrading current cash flow modelling
Compile quarterly RCF reporting for external lenders
Assist with documentation and implementation of FX processes
Assist with documentation of overseas loan documentation, ensure cash balances and interest are up to date for loans
Liaise with intercompany accountant specialists to propose intragroup billing settlement balances
Working with the partnership accounting team to ensure prompt updating of partner capital and maintenance of appropriate banking facilities which will include liaising with the firm\xe2\x80\x99s bankers.
Projects:
Assist the Senior Financial Control and Treasury Manager with the identification, progress and documentation of various projects.
Assist with the monitoring and update of processes and controls
Be an integral part of the roll out of processes to the international teams
Skills & Experience Required:
Professionally qualified accountant (those nearing completion of a qualification are also invited to apply).

Proficient in MS Office applications (minimum of Excel and Word)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to communicate at all levels
Strong analytical skills
Grasps, retains and analyses complex information and concepts; great attention to detail

Ability to show initiative and plan for and handle multiple priorities
