Join the Close Brothers Treasury Team where you will support and assist the Treasury Markets team. Working as part of the Treasury team our ideal team member will have previous experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with all internal and external customers and intermediaries with an excellent understanding of Financial Markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support in optimisation of returns and short-term funding costs, whilst minimising group financial risk within Regulatory and Management constraints.
Monitor and follow national and international financial economic, political, and social trends and assess their possible effects on FX and interest rate movements. Providing market updates where appropriate.
Assist in the management of wholesale funding, and Group liquidity requirements.
Actively support Treasury Dealing with management information, providing information for the collation and preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly management packs.
Understand all policies and procedures, and ensure processes are well documented and updated.
Ensure knowledge and compliance with all regulatory requirements around Anti Money Laundering (AML), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Conduct Risk and Information Security.
Understand and adhere to the dealing principles around the UK Money Market and FX Global Codes.
Ensure compliance with Group Policies & Standards, local regulatory laws and regulations and controls, and compliance procedures of the Bank.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
Understanding of Financial Markets
Experience and awareness of a Treasury environment
Proficient in MS Office package, particularly Excel and Power Point
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:
Knowledge of FIS Quantum, Business Objects (CIDA) & Bloomberg
