We have an exciting opportunity for a confident individual with a passion for travel. Holiday Hamster is looking for an experienced Travel Consultant to add to their growing team of award-winning experts. The successful candidate will be provided with full support from our team to develop their skills and product knowledge. JOB DESCRIPTION As a Travel Consultant, you will listen to the customer, find out what they want and create something to match their holiday requirements. DUTIES WILL INCLUDE

• Consistently provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers face-to-face, via telephone or by email
• Ask the right questions and listen to what the customer wants and needs in order to find the most suitable product for them
• Create and sell travel packages using our vast array of partners
• Produce eye-catching and accurate quotations, ensuring all details and prices are correct
• Take part in regular training, including overseas educational visits, to continuously develop product knowledge

• Minimum of 2 Years of Travel Agent experience or a similar role
• Good interpersonal skills
• Excellent listener
• Attention to detail
• Ability to use your own initiative
• Work as part of a team
• Good Florida product knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• GCSE English
• GCSE Maths

TRAINING

• Opportunity to increase product knowledge through various in-house and online training courses.

• Take an interest in travel and cultures with a willingness to learn

PROSPECTS Continued support for all future personal or professional development with the option to progress to Senior Travel Consultant and/or specialise in a desired field of travel within the company. OTHER INFORMATION

• Working Week: 30 hours, spread over four days, from Tuesday to Saturday.
