WHAT YOU WANT TO KNOW:

• Salary is \xc2\xa324,725 per annum plus additional pay for any weekend hours worked which will be at 1.5x your hourly rate.
• Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm with a requirement to work 1x Saturday is 4 between the hours of 9am and 3pm.

A SNAPSHOT OF THE TRAVEL CONSULTANT\'S DAY:

• Answering customer queries via phone and email, always ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Create travel bookings / packages for your customers and cross-selling or up-selling additional services.
• Use various online systems to check availability, prices, and make bookings.
• Handle booking queries, including balance payments, and amendments.
• Make commercial decisions on pricing for customer packages.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN YOUR APPLICATION:

• You will have exceptional customer service skills both over the phone and via written communications.
• You will have a friendly, warm, and confident approach to your customers.
• You will have strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own time effectively.
• You will be commercially aware. This role involves looking at different prices and margins.
• You will be IT savvy and be able to pick up and use new systems quickly. Having experienced using a reservations / GDS system would be desirable.
• Previous travel industry experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
