Key Responsibilities of Transport Operator

Coordinate transport operations for both container and curtain-sided deliveries across the Group Oversee shunting activity between the port, warehouse, and yard, working closely with the Warehouse Manager Collaborate with our Warehouse and Shipping teams to ensure efficient logistics, both on-site and with third-party locations Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and third-party hauliers Support the planning of our own fleet using TruckCom TMS, including VBS/CBS booking Maintain close, positive working relationships with drivers--keeping morale high and engagement strong Oversee compliance, maintenance, servicing, and MOT scheduling for trucks and trailers
Skills required for Operations Coordinator

Proven experience in transport operations, ideally with both containers and trailers Strong customer focus and a drive to deliver exceptional service Problem-solving mindset with the ability to take initiative A collaborative team player who enjoys contributing to a growing business Friendly, approachable, and committed to building a positive workplace culture
