We are currently recruiting for a
Transport Operations Planner
following an internal promotion and transfer within the business. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and growing team where internal development is actively encouraged.
In this role, you'll support the Transport Department by producing essential transport paperwork, coordinating courier shipments, managing customer collections, and maintaining high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce delivery and collection notes for transport routes
Manage courier shipments and global import/export documentation
Provide Proof of Delivery (POD) documents and liaise with Customer Services
Support internal driver briefings and operational updates
Maintain BSI/ISO quality standards and promote a strong Health & Safety culture
Provide logistics administration support across the department
What We're Looking For:
Excellent organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and work calmly under pressure
Competence in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel)
Strong communication skills and a proactive team approach
Experience in logistics or transport operations (preferred but not essential)
Shift Pattern:
06:00 - 14:00
08:30 - 16:30
10:00 - 18:00
(37.5 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid break. Flexibility for overtime is expected.)*
Pay and Progression:
Starting Salary (Level 1, probation): 23,984.99
Salary rises with Attendance Allowance
Opportunity for progression to Grade 2 after probation period
