Job Description
The Transport Manager will be responsible for overseeing all transport and logistics operations including people management and development.
- The role will co-ordinate the customer\'s requirements ensuring efficient movement of parts throughout the operation * Responsible for managing change positively and effectively
- To ensure that the transport function is legally compliant by ensuring correct compliance processes are in place
- Take responsibility for health and safety and the co-ordination of associated activities.
- To ensure absence and holiday cover is in place for the role and also assist in absentee and holiday cover where required.
- To ensure good quality communication with the customers on a day to day basis and to deliver any agreed actions required to keep the operation efficient.
A working knowledge of transport process management
A transport managers CPC is NOT essential
Experience with FORS requirements is an advantage
Will have experience within the logistics department of a fast paced manufacturing business
Excellent people engagement skills
Must be commutable to Warwick on a daily basis

The Transport Manager will be paid a salary of \xc2\xa340,000 plus package
