We have a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Delivery Centre Manager (Transport Manager) to join us at our prestigious 2-person home delivery B&Q Contract working at our site in Southampton. Wincanton manages the whole Home delivery process including delivery directly to B&Q customers\' homes.
Working predominantly a Monday to Friday shift but ultimately flexibility required to suit operational demands.
Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you will provide effective management to all staff on site ensuring achievement of service level KPI\'s and budgetary constraints.
In this role you will be responsible for the overall safety, quality and performance and customer experience and have accountability for meeting and exceeding operational goals. Your ability to strategic plan and forecast will be key to succeed in this role. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong management skills and a track record of supervising a Transport and warehouse team.
