We make promises to our customers, and we\'ll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;

• Responsible for the execution of transport plans ensuring transport and network SLA\'s/KPI\'s are achieved
• FLM\'s are front and centre of the transport operation demonstrating 21st century driver engagement and management
• In addition to being a duty manager the FLM is a driver line manager ensuring the wellbeing, performance and motivation of their team through regular performance dialogues, scheduled 1-2-1\'s as well as ad-hoc communication and engagement
• Responsible for driver and fleet legal compliance during shift in accordance with DHL Asset Management Centre of Excellence standards
• Ensuring and sampling pre-shift checks (yard checks) and the defect process
• Ensuring fleet management (OPS) processes are adhered to
• Accident and breakdown management via DHL standard operating procedures

• Previous Transport experience - ESSENTIAL
• H&S compliance, ensuring and promoting the best H&S Standards using Safe, sound check lists, safety conversations and Gemba problem solving processes
• IT Literate, with Microsoft office packages
• Good communication skills - both written/verbal
