Transport Dispatcher
Job Description
Manpower Driving and Logistics are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our national clients. We have an existing vacancy for a full time Transport Dispatcher in Elland.
The role will include taking incoming calls from drivers, assisting with queries and arranging deliveries. The role will also involve making outgoing calls to customers to inform them of any delivery changes and re-routing drivers to deal with urgent orders. The ideal candidate will need to have a good telephone manner, experience completing general admin duties, be computer literate and have some customer service or transport experience.
The hours of work will be done on a Rota system working 8 hour shifts. You will need to be available to start early shifts from 5am. The latest shift will start at 2pm and finish at 10pm. The role will be working 5 days in 7, weekend days will be required. Some Overtime may be required,
This position is an immediate start and is a temp to perm position.
