We are looking for a Transport Administrator to be a part of our Logistics team. You will be responsible for assisting the Transport Management team with all day to day transportation activities. Helping develop efficient transport operations and optimising the existing strategies will be a part of your job role.
You will be responsible for performing administrative tasks within a fast paced transport environment.
Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with the safety standards and transportation department SOPs
General Vehicle Compliance
Handling any customer complaints and processing the urgent ones to the Management Team
Assist in scheduling vehicle maintenance appointments
Planning daily transportation schedules.
Performing administrative duties such as preparing, maintaining and filing shipment documents.
Liaising with drivers for smooth movement of goods.
Developing and implementing new and improved transportation procedures
About You
Requirements
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Ability to collaborate with other team members and departments
Ability to coordinate with managers, drivers, and customer services
Quick decision-making ability
Strong PC skills including Teams, word, excel.
Previous experience supporting in fleet management desirable but training will be provided.
