YouLend is a rapidly growing FinTech that is the preferred embedded financing platform for many of the world\xe2\x80\x99s leading e-commerce platforms, tech companies, and Payment Service Providers. Our software platform enables our partners to extend their value proposition by offering flexible financing products in their own branding, to their merchant base, without capital at risk.

We are headquartered in London, UK, but are also present in several European countries as well as the United States where we service our partners, including eBay, Shopify, Paymentsense, and Allianz Global Investors.

The Role

You will be working closely with the VP of Operations to increase business intelligence through use of data to drive growth. The role will be project focused, taking on strategic development initiatives, leading them through to successful execution and then prioritising other projects.

The role requires strong analytical and problem solving capabilities; as well as excellent people skills to communicate changes. In addition, it is expected that the candidate is able to work independently and proactively. You will work alongside stakeholders across the business, from Credit Decisions and Operations through to our Product and Technology team.

Responsibilities:

• Take full ownership of making our Collections and Recoveries function the very best of any European fintech.
• This includes, but is not limited to: (1) drive forward KPI reporting and monitoring across the teams to deliver growth and efficiency and (2) identify process gaps and work with the team to close them.
• Drive operational efficiencies while improving quality of work and ensuring our processes and policies live up to increasing degrees of compliance.
• Identify automation and other improvement opportunities to further develop the process for delivering rapid financing to merchants.

The ideal candidate will have the following skillset:

• 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience at a top strategy consulting firm.
• Project management experience from fast-paced environment like start-ups, scale-ups, etc.
• Strong problem solving and analytics, e.g. through MS Excel and tools like PowerBI.
• Excellent communication: written and verbal.
• Excellent change management handling.
• Experience of mass data manipulation through SQL, Python, R, etc. would be useful.
• You will be proactive, take ownership, and act with urgency.
