We are seeking a proactive Training Coordinator to join our Coast Training team for maternity cover. In this role, you will help assist the daily operations of our GWO (Global Wind Organisation) training centre.
Please note that this role requires the ability to work independently, particularly during times when trainers are delivering training sessions.
You must be able to use your own initiative.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Be the welcoming face of the centre, greeting visitors and delegates upon arrival.
Prepare courses in advance by setting up equipment and organising paperwork.
Manage all course bookings and enquiries through phone and email.
Maintain and update the training calendar and website to reflect course availability.
Generate and upload all delegate certificates.
Assist marketing efforts by providing course schedules and updates for social media on a weekly basis.
Perform general administrative duties to support the smooth operation of the training centre.
Process bookings and manage orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Handle refunds when necessary and ensure all transactions are correctly recorded.
Respond to enquiries and provide accurate information about all available courses.
Support basic sales development by engaging with businesses and promoting our services.
Help with financial tasks, such as checking invoices and handling purchase orders, with support from our accounts team.
Assist with the diaries of the internal and external trainers.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Previous experience in a similar role.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with delegates via phone, email, and in person.
The ability to use initiative and work independently.
Strong IT skills and the ability to learn and navigate various systems with ease.
Experience with WordPress is desirable, but not essential.
A valid driver's licence is required.
A keen eye for detail, as you will be required to check tasks off.
An open and curious mindset with a readiness to learn new things.
