Permanent \xe2\x80\x93 Part Time (24 hours per week)

Come and join our training team with a local charity! Working alongside our training manager to deliver training and assist with admin duties. Candidate must have experience working within health and social care.

Stockdales is a local charity based in Sale, just south of Manchester City Centre. We have over 70 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience supporting people with learning and physical disabilities to live life to the full. Our 5 care homes have up to 7 residents and our busy Community Service has weekly sessions, a social club and a weekend kids club. Check out our website to see what we do .

Joining us as Training Assistant, you will support and collaborate with the Training & Recruitment Manager and current team to help improve the service delivery experience and Continuous Personal Development for staff at all levels.

You will induct new employees by providing high quality training courses and using a variety of training methods, in addition to identifying future training needs and reporting these back to the Service Managers. You will be responsible for managing the training calendar, monitoring the e-learning systems and tracking staff progress, above all ensuring that staff feel fully supported in their roles.

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for:

  • 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working in Health and Social Care.
  • Experience of teamwork and of taking responsibility for standards and services.
  • PTTLS/Education & Training L3 qualification or a willingness to work towards.
  • Train the Trainer (or equivalent qualifications) in required training courses or be willing to work towards.
  • Knowledge of the Care Certificate Standards.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory bodies and legislation.
  • Good basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
  • Good communication, networking, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
