Hours: 14.8 hours per week

Based at Broomfield Hall with access to over 200 acres of grounds, you will perform the role of trainer/assessor for apprenticeship delivery in Floristry, undertaking assessments and delivering national framework and standards at Level 2 within a variety of settings, both onsite at Broomfield Hall and with local employers. You will be a highly motivated individual, able to work independently to ensure high achievement rates of qualifications with monthly targets met. You will be expected to strive to maintain above average success rates in all areas, using innovation within your teaching and assessing whilst utilising e-learning opportunities. The successful candidate will have proven experience of providing outstanding support for learners and will be flexible, self-motivated and dedicated to student achievement and quality. Up to date knowledge and experience of horticulture including health and safety, floristry, and practical industry skills is mandatory. Training and/or assessing experience in Floristry curriculum is desirable, and you will be required to hold your A1 Assessor award (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards this.

During your day you could be required to deal with a challenging student, an employer, a senior manager and plan activities with another member of your team, therefore it is important that you can deal with a wide range of people, be efficient, effective and productive and have excellent communication skills and an organised approach to your work.
