Location: Watford
Type: Permanent (12-week probationary period)
Start: Immediate (Aug/Sep)
Salary: \xc2\xa324,648 - \xc2\xa326,000 per annum
Work Hours: Mon-Thu: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Fri: 7:30 am - 1:00 pm

The Role:
As a Trainee Spray Lacquerer, you\'ll be a crucial part of our thriving Spray Department. You\'ll work within a state-of-the-art Junair Spray booth featuring cutting-edge water-curtain extraction. Ensuring your safety is paramount, with annual biological monitoring, LEV testing, and Occupational Health assessments in place. All necessary personal protective equipment, including a battery-powered air-fed respirator, will be provided.
You\'ll operate under the EN9100 standard, adhering to aerospace guidelines based on ISO 9001 quality system requirements. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you\'ll contribute to projects for luxurious first-class airline suites, high-end automotive brands, and super yachts.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare components for cleaning, degreasing, and lacquering.
- Carefully assemble pieces for the spraying process.
- Mix and prepare lacquers and spray equipment.
- Learn spray lacquering techniques from experienced technicians.
- Inspect work for quality throughout the process.
- Oversee baking and curing processes in the internal oven.
- Handle post-spray work packaging and inspection.
- Assist in spray booth cleaning and maintenance.
