Job Summary


To drive the growth and success of the company by proactively identifying and securing new business opportunities while retaining and expanding revenue through the current distribution channel. This role supports the financial growth of the department by managing sales and exchanges effectively and fostering trusted relationships with both current and potential hire customers. Clear, respectful, and transparent communication with all stakeholders, both internal and external, is essential to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities



Drive engagement and regular contact with all Short/Long Term Hire Customers with a view to retain and/or extend the Hire period. Actively seek out New Business opportunities for hire. Nurturing these opportunities and converting them into Hire contracts + Contract Lifts Be responsible for all new Hire enquiries together with follow up of all quotes within 30 minutes. Upsell accessories and other equipment wherever possible. Respond to all Hire enquiries within 30 minutes, preferably contacting by telephone in the first instance. Correctly using the CRM (Autotask) ensuring all Customer details, notes and relevant
information are correct and up to date. Updating amended details and keeping the CRM as up to date as possible.

Manage time effectively to meet sales targets while maintaining high levels of organisation in daily activities. Assist in maintaining the pricing guide for hire Customers including bespoke pricing for key Customers. Ensuring complete awareness of the cross hire pricing and processes. Periodically review Hire T&C's and Hire agreements in accordance with the Hire Desk Manager. Achievement of Targets and quotas set by the Director. Put customers and people at the heart of all activity ensuring the customers are treated as people and people as customers at all times. Manage social media & webite. Website managed by external company but will require details on updates & changes as required

Qualifications



Excellent Team player. Adaptable with an ingrained ability to quickly learn new processes. Must have an excellent eye for detail, organised and able to prioritise. Ability to work under pressure. Exceptional written, verbal and telephone skills. Honest and trustworthy. Outgoing, friendly personality who is able to develop strong business relationships with all clients. Self-motivated, not afraid to pick up the phone and drum up New Business. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-making processes. A proactive drive to achieve personal and team goals within a competitive environment.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 25.00-30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 18 per week
