As a Trainee Sales Representative, you will support the wider sales team by developing strong client relationships, identifying customer needs, and recommending appropriate utility services.
The role is focused on in-person engagement and involves direct communication with clients to understand and fulfil their service requirements.
This is an entry-level role designed to provide full training in all areas of sales, product knowledge, and customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Contact:
Engage directly with potential and existing customers through face-to-face meetings to introduce utility services.
Needs Assessment:
Conduct thorough consultations to assess customer utility requirements and recommend suitable services.
Product Presentation:
Present clear and accurate information regarding energy, broadband, and water services, explaining service features and contract terms.
Proposal Development:
Prepare tailored quotations and service proposals based on the specific needs of each client, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with clients, providing support, addressing queries, and offering additional services when appropriate.
CRM Management:
Record all customer interactions and activities within the company's CRM system, ensuring records are up-to-date and accurate.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with colleagues across the sales and operations teams to deliver a high standard of customer service and achieve shared goals.
Professional Development:
Attend training sessions, workshops, and team meetings to develop product knowledge, refine sales techniques, and enhance professional skills.
Requirements:
