Purpose of the Role
As part of our core values, great emphasis is put on our Customer Commitment. The Internal Sales department is the first point of contact for all our customers, and it is our role to ensure each query is dealt with using high levels of professionalism and expertise to meet their needs and requirements. As a Technical Sales department, we offer a range of services for all our customers including part identification, specification, fault diagnostics and general price and product related queries. These can be communicated through several platforms including Telephone, Email, WhatsApp messaging, Website LiveChat and social media platforms.
It is the responsibility of the Trainee Sales Advisor to ensure that each query is answered in a timely and precise manner, offering a level of service that is unmatched in the P & H market. The service offering we provide has played a significant part in the businesses success to date and it is the responsibility of the Internal Sales team to ensure that this is upheld and each member of staff is up-to-date with new product knowledge and legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Establish a friendly and professional rapport with all customers, presenting a positive impression of themselves and the organisation.
Identify customer needs and interests and present products and services that potentially match these.
Ensuring all manner of Sales queries are logged on in-house SAGE systems.
Identify Core Products from company portfolio across all Sales platforms, Emails, Telephone, WhatsApp, Live Chat & Trade Counter.
Using in-house Extranet (TeamHub) to effectively deal with customers enquiries and orders
Diagnose basic fault finding on unvented systems.
Effective handling and accountability for card payment transactions both via telephone and face-to-face.
Logging potential sales leads and opportunities to pass to the relevant Area Sales Manager.
Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the complete sales process.
Meeting the training and development requirements of the job role.

Essential Experience:
Previous experience in a customer focused role
Attention to detail
Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen and express themselves clearly
IT Literate - MS Office programs such as Word, Outlook, Excel / WhatsApp

Plumbing and Heating Industry knowledge
Sage 200
Omnichannel systems

Essential Qualifications:
GSCE Maths, English
