Trainee Quality Engineer (Manufacturing)

Do you have experience working in a Quality environment with an engineering background looking to work for a rapidly expanding company offering guided training and mentoring as well as the opportunity to step into a Quality Engineering role?

On offer is a hugely varied role where, following sufficient training, you will be working across all aspects of the company in a hands on quality position. You will be handling audits as well as managing quality concerns from cradle to grave all while being mentored by the quality director as you progress your skillset and develop into a fully-fledged engineer.

Due to consistent workload, this company are looking to expand their Quality department by bringing on a new engineer. Having grown exponentially since their incorporation 30 years ago this company work in a niche sector across multiple vital industries including Military and Aerospace specialising in R&D and new product introduction.

This role would suit a Quality Inspector or similar from an engineering background looking for a technically challenging, varied and rewarding role with plenty of guided training and clear routes to progress into a senior engineer position.

The Role:

• Supporting the production departments to ensure all control measures are followed
• Manage quality concerns from cradle to grave, facilitating investigations to identify and eliminate the root cause of quality concerns
• Monday to Thursday, 9:00am \xe2\x80\x93 4:30pm, Friday, 8:30am \xe2\x80\x93 2pm, 37.5 hours a week, flexitime
• Overtime paid 1.5x on weekends and normal rate on weekdays

The Person:

• Quality Inspector or similar
• Engineering background
