Our plant team has grown significantly over the last year, and we are now recruiting for an additional team member to join as a Trainee Plant Controller. You will report to the Plant Manager, and be trained by the Senior Plant Controller and wider team to arrange the hire of plant, tools, and machinery to enable our production teams to fulfill site requirements.

The Successful Applicant will:

Have a methodical approach, strong administration skills, and good attention to detail.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Undergoing training with the Senior Plant Controller and wider team in order to coordinate and oversee plant requirements for a set region.
Working closely with Site and Contracts Managers to ensure effective productivity.
Coordinate and prepare weekly gas oil and diesel for plant and machinery across regional sites.
Work with diesel suppliers to secure rates, ensuring service levels meet business requirements.
Coordinate and prepare miscellaneous items for regional sites.
Coordinate site mixer requirements under hire desk, ensuring business processes are followed.
General administration and office duties to support the Plant department.
