The Role
We are seeking a
Trainee Mortgage Adviser
with a minimum of
CeMAP 1 qualification
to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to begin or advance their career in mortgage advice with real training, progression, and hands-on experience.
You'll begin in our lead management team
, where you'll learn the foundations of client engagement, qualifying prospects, and understanding the unique lending challenges our clients face. Over time, you will transition into a fully qualified Mortgage Broker role.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with incoming client leads and qualify their needs effectively
Build strong relationships and maintain client records in our CRM
Understand and communicate a variety of mortgage solutions
Learn and adhere to regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Work closely with experienced advisers to observe and learn case handling
Progress towards full Mortgage Adviser duties, including giving regulated advice (as further qualifications and competence are achieved)
What We're Looking For
CeMAP 1 qualified
(minimum requirement)
Strong communication skills and a natural rapport with clients
A desire to learn and grow into a Mortgage Adviser role
High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
A proactive, can-do attitude and team-player mindset
Previous sales, financial services, or customer service experience is a bonus
