Position:Trainee Edit Assistant
Salary Scale: Real Living Wage (\xc2\xa310.90 per hour)
Hours: 35 hrs per week

This job is ideal for anyone who wants a start in post. It\xe2\x80\x99s a supporting role, assisting our editorial team in all aspects of post production. It\xe2\x80\x99s a technical position so if data is your thing and if transcoding, ingesting and backing up are terms you\xe2\x80\x99d like to get familiar with then this is the role for you. A good knowledge of IT and computers are essential and an eye for detail is also a must.

This position is a trainee post, jointly funded by Northern Ireland Screen, and is open to anyone with at least 3 months professional experience in the film and television industry. The successful candidate will be placed on a one-year contract (RLW) starting in November 2023 but with a view to fulltime employment. A willingness to learn and self-motivation is crucial.

• Good knowledge of IT and computers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Have 3 months professional experience in the film and television industry

Desirable Criteria

• Knowledge of Avid would be an advantage
