We are looking for a Full time Trainee dental nurse to join our growing team, based at Honour Health Stanley.

The role will provide a fully funded apprenticeship, with off the job training and support from a personal tutor. You will achieve a Level 3 Dental Nurse Qualification over the course of a 18 months training. The course will be carried out online, you will also have a mentor who will support you with in house training.
Once qualified, you will register as a dental care professional with the General Dental Council (GDC).

Has great organisational skills
Responsibilities:
Preparation of the surgery and instruments prior to surgical session
Escorting client into surgery and preparing them for treatment
Providing chair-side assistance during all dental procedures
Managing the clinician's lab work, liaising with reception and dental labs as needed
Maintaining a clean environment before, during and after each surgical session
Cleaning and sterilising all instruments after each client, adhering to practices cross infection policy
Ensuring all clinical and hazardous waste is deposed of in the appropriate manner compliant with current medical regulations
Ensuring that all surgical equipment is maintained as per manufacturer's instructions and are cleaned appropriately
Attend and participate in practice meetings
Undergo training as may be required to develop skills and abilities
