Trainee Dental Nurse

in a high quality 7-surgery, mixed NHS & Private dental practice dedicated to cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated individual who is looking to join a rewarding career in dental nursing

We are an independently run, forward thinking mixed private and NHS practice with a longstanding reputation in the local community. We are fun, friendly team and we are looking for a team player who is hardworking, punctual and loves dealing with the public.

We undertake all manner of treatments including Cosmetic Dentistry, Implant surgery and Facial aesthetics. The trainee will join an apprenticeship scheme sponsored by the clinic. Salary dependant on experience and all uniforms are provided by the clinic. In addition formal training you will also receive experience in both reception work and assistance to our friendly dentists.

HOURS

: 40 Hours a week.

REQUIREMENTS

: The applicant must be well presented and dedicated towards outstanding patient care. The person should be proactive, with drive and commitment to achieve our desired goals and be a great team player.

Full training will be given. A good command of the English language is essential.

DUTIES

: General dental nursing, reception work, administration duties, instrument sterilisation, scheduling of appointments, explanation of treatment and other aspects of customer care.

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment
- develop dental x-rays
- Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- covering reception desk when required
- Ensure proper infection control protocols are followed
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
