Trainee Accounting Technician

Job Description
We are currently looking to recruit to our finance team a Trainee Accounting Technician who can work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
General admin duties e.g. telephone, filing, post, enquiries etc. Process invoices, payments, raising purchase orders and processing goods received. Build and maintain good relationship with suppliers. Month end processing, such as account balancing to suppliers' statement and month end audit procedures while producing accurate reports. Bank reconciliations. Cash and bank management including lodgements and reconciliations. Assistance with preparation of internal management reports. Any other ad-hoc duties to support the management team.
We are looking for someone with an excellent understanding of numbers and a high level of comprehension. The ideal candidate will be someone determined to build a career as an Accounting Technician.
Education, Experience & Desirable Skills
Minimum requirements include a C in English and Maths at GCSE A-levels are desirable (or minimum 2 years experience in a similar role). Strong numerical ability. Analytical skills in MS Office & Excel. Confident in communication.
