Traffic Planner
Job Description
We have an immediate opportunity for two experienced Traffic Planners to join our team at our Coatbridge depot.
This role will be to help ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Coatbridge Depot's traffic operation, ensuring accurate, cost-effective planning, sound customer service and operational support is provided.
The role will involve managing all aspects of traffic planning for specific customer contracts ensuring client's needs are met and profitability/supplier conformance is upheld at all times.
The role will also involve working to deadlines, in a fast-paced traffic environment. Experience of traffic/forwarding processes is essential. The successful candidate must have previous traffic planning experience, possess good geographical knowledge, have a good working knowledge of basic IT systems and a good team-based work ethic.
Full support and training will be provided by the Logistics Manager.
