Traffic Management Operatives

OLR Services Ltd is looking for

12D qualified Traffic Management Operatives

based in Northampshire.

This role involves implementing various traffic management systems such as 2, 3 & 4-way temporary traffic lights, lane closures, road closures etc.

The contract we are hiring for is in Northampshire.

:

You will be responsible for:

Installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management such as deploying signs, cones, A frames, sandbags and other equipment on low-speed roads. Maintenance of traffic management equipment and maintain a tidy TM storage area. Liasing with the site foreman and client on installation suitability for the works and timings. Operate company vehicles in line with company standards. Installation, maintain and control 2,3 & 4 temporary traffic lights. Install and maintain lane closures and road closures. Help and guide new trainees as they learn the role requirements. Conform with all company policies. Be courteous and professional in any situation around the public, client and all colleagues. Reporting all near misses to the managment team.
Experiance and Requirements:

Unit 2 or M1 / M2 qualified as a minimum M3 and M6 qualified a welcome addition Knowledge and understanding of Chapter 8 Full UK Driving license. Restrictions on points apply for insurance purposes, you'll need to speak with us if you have more than 6 points on your licence Ability to build and maintain positive and productive working relationships with the site teams. Able to pass a drug and alcohol test. Your employment offer will depend on the outcome of this. Physically fit and able to pass a safety critical worker medical and any other relevant medical assessments your offer will depend on the outcome of this Positive 'can-do' attitude Be flexible and reactive High attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00-17.00 per hour
