Position: Traffic Management Consultant
Contract Type: 3-month rolling Fixed-Term Contract (FTC), starting October
Duration: Up to 2 years
Work Schedule: 2 days per week
Location: Work from home

As a Traffic Management Consultant, you\'ll play a pivotal role in enhancing traffic flow and safety across our nation\'s roadways. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation of traffic management strategies. We are seeking professionals with the following qualifications and experience:

Requirements:

• Qualified to degree level or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Highway Engineering, or a related field
• Membership in a recognized professional body such as ICE or IHE
• NHSS M7 qualification or equivalent
• TSCO (Temporary Signing and Guarding) qualified
• Proven experience in managing Traffic Management contractors on local authority roads
• Strong track record of interfacing and liaising with local authority councils
• In-depth experience with Utility construction schemes involving highway excavation and reinstatement
• Proficiency in Traffic Management consents including TTROs (Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders), road closures, and Road Safety Audits
• Possession of relevant insurances and Professional Indemnity (PI) coverage
• Proficiency in assessing Traffic Management designs and utilizing CAD software
