Digital & Trading Marketing Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Pubs Division

Are you an ambitious marketing professional with a real passion for drink, food and digital? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to make an impact and shape the future of some of Mitchells & Butlers best known pubs brands.

In this 12 month secondment role you will be responsible for leading the future digital and trading strategy for some of our leading brands within this division including O\xe2\x80\x99Neills, Sizzling Pub & Grill and Ember Inns, whilst driving relevance and engagement for our guest base.

This unique Digital & Trading Marketing Manager opportunity offers the chance to manage 3 direct reports and work cross divisionally with some of our leading social and creative agencies as well as being a key influencing role in the Pubs Division team. This is a mobile role which requires travel across our pub\xe2\x80\x99s estate.

What will I be doing?

Reporting to the Head of Brand Marketing for our Pubs Division, the Digital & Trading Marketing Manager will be responsible for:
  • Driving divisional sales, profit and market share objectives in line with company ambition.
  • Managing the division\xe2\x80\x99s digital and trading strategy to maximise opportunities to communicate across web, app, email and social to drive reach, awareness, engagement and conversion.
  • Owning the digital strategy and plan for the division, working with strong agency partners to deliver engagement with our brands through relevant content, as well as topline sales/ conversion through paid social.
  • Owning the CRM Strategy and Plan for the Division to drive sign up, loyalty and frequency working alongside our customer marketing team.
  • Work with the brand marketing team to deliver seasonal and key date digital campaigns through effective marketing channels.
  • Work closely with the brand marketing managers to showcase each of the brands personality, TOV and guest experience across all digital touchpoints
  • Leading, developing and coaching direct reports with full line management accountability
  • Managing all digital marketing expenditure in line with agreed budgets and forecasts
What do I need?

  • 3 years + experience, with proven performance in a strategic digital marketing role
  • A strategic and commercial attitude to sales & performance marketing with a digital focus
  • Demonstrable track record delivering successful digital campaigns against agreed metrics
  • Experience of line management and a passion to develop talent
  • Experience of managing multiple projects and stakeholders at pace whilst having a strong eye for detail
  • Self-starter, with a passion, drive and a can-do attitude
  • Passion for food and drink, with a keen understanding of the marketplace and competitor set
