In our ongoing expansion, we are in search of a skilled Trading Analyst to join our dynamic Trading Team. If you possess a genuine interest in financial or crypto markets, coupled with initial exposure to a financial or crypto trading setting, and you bring strong work ethics and a drive for continuous learning, we invite you to connect with us!
As a Trading Analyst at Wirex, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our flow automation and risk monitoring initiatives. You will undergo comprehensive training in the intricacies of crypto market behavior, systematic risk management, and the design of arbitrage strategies. This training will cover pertinent software, exchanges, and information systems, empowering you to quickly assume a significant level of responsibility within the team.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

• Monitoring the market performance and risks associated with Wirex products.
• Participating in the design of automated live risk metrics and hedging solutions and engaging in day-to-day trading activities on FX and crypto exchanges to mitigate market risks.
• Manage relationships and integration with brokers.
• Supporting ongoing projects in the Trading Team as needed.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED We seek an individual eager to embrace learning and development within this position. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proactivity and strong organizational skills, actively contributing to the development of structured products, trading strategies, and comprehensive activity reports. A keen interest in crypto and FX markets is essential for success in this role.

• Problem solver with a startup mindset, demonstrating innovation and a desire to optimise strategies and flows.
• University degree, preferably in financial engineering, mathematics, actuarial science, computer science, engineering, statistics/economics, or a related field.
• Passionate with a genuine desire to work in markets, coupled with a strong work ethic and a thirst for learning.
• Exposure to at least one of these languages: C#, Java, Python, or R.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
