Job Description
Tour Consultant, up to \xc2\xa325,000, Annual bonus scheme related to company performance, Workplace pension scheme, Opportunity to travel, working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm . European language required.
Our client, who is one of Britain\'s most trusted and experienced inbound tour operators, has an opportunity for a Tour Consultant to join their small team in the centre of Cheltenham . The main purpose of this role is to organise and administer successful group tours within the UK and Europe and to ensure the tours meet the clients brief.
As Tour Consultant for our client your role will involve the following duties:
- Make all necessary arrangements, confirmations, payments etc. with relevant suppliers such as hotels, guides, restaurants etc.
- Maintain accurate record keeping of all arrangements made for tours.
- Where appropriate, make a creative contribution to content of tour.
- Ensure that specified services for tours are delivered within budget
- We would expect the successful Tour Consultant to be able to demonstrate good computer skills with a working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal English and fluency in a European language.
- Organised with good attention to detail.
- Previous travel experience preferred.
- Knowledge of the UK and Europe
