Owen Daniels are working with a respected aerospace engineering company, renowned for delivering high-quality components and assemblies to some of the world's top aerospace brands. With a focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement, we're expanding our expert team and seeking a skilled Toolmaker to support our manufacturing operations.

As a Toolmaker, you will be responsible for manufacturing, maintaining, and repairing tooling and fixtures used in the production of precision aerospace components. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a high-standards, engineering-focused environment.

Toolmaker

Manufacture and repair jigs, fixtures, and tools to tight tolerances Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications Operate manual and CNC machines (milling, turning, grinding, etc.) Ensure tooling is maintained to aerospace quality standards Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams Proactively identify improvements to tooling processes

Qualifications/ Experience

Proven experience as a Toolmaker in a manufacturing environment (ideally aerospace, automotive, or precision engineering) Strong manual machining skills Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Apprenticeship-trained or equivalent engineering qualification desirable
