per annum + 14.5% shift premium

Shift Pattern - following training which will be on day shift.

Week 1:

Monday to Thursday: 6.00am to 2.00pm

Friday: 6.00am to 11.00am

Week 2:

Monday to Thursday: 2.00pm to 10.00pm

Friday: 11.00am to 4.00pm

This shift pattern attracts a 14.5% shift premium on basic salary above.

Job Summary

This role requires a strong understanding of machining techniques and the ability to work with various metallic materials. The Tool Maker/Machinist will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production operations.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have worked within a machining environment using CNC turning, grinding, and drilling skills while working to tight tolerances.

Previous experience working with manual machining activities and also must be able to read and understand detailed engineering drawings.

To carry out CNC turning and Milling requirements. Ensure compliance with mandatory requirements. Interpret all aspects of Drawing / Process Spec. requirements. Able to work under own initiative with some supervision.. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lift equipment/products up to 25kg Training will provided to cover all other functions in the area relevant to this role.

Skills

Manual turning, milling and/or grinding experience. Some CNC capability (or potential) experience preferred Can demonstrate a familiarity with aerospace component drawings. Good observational skills. PC literacy A flexible approach and a willingness to learn additional manufacturing skills.
