Company Overview

We are looking for an experienced Timber Treatment Operative who will be working with pressurised timber treatment machines, working in a modern manufacturing facility.

This is a temp to permanent contract, working 40-hours per week on a rotating shift pattern of 6am till 2pm and 2pm till 10pm. Immediate start is available!

Main responsibilities:

Operate the timber treatment line

Oversee the correct use of the timber treatment, pressurised tank and feed systems

Ensuring safe loading and unloading of the line

Ensuring Health and Safety rules are always abided to

Monitor the treatment process and adjust the parameters when needed

Keeping concise records of production batches, treatment usage & calibration checks

Ensuring you work within the given tolerances and quality of finished goods

Maintaining general cleanliness of the line environment at all times

Carry out basic PPM routines and daily line/maintenance checks

We are looking for someone who has:

Experience running timber treatment line (NVQ level 2 in timber treatment preferred)

A good standard of FLT Sideloader & Counter balance experience

The ability to problem solve and fault find

Strong awareness of Health and Safety

High levels of accuracy and efficiency

Excellent attention to detail is essential

Effective communication skills with a good working knowledge of computers

Eagerness to learn new skills and adapt to a fast paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: Up to 32,739.20 per year

Schedule:

Monday to Friday No weekends
Work Location: In person
