Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in welding techniques and possess a strong mechanical knowledge. This role involves working with various materials, including sheet metal, and requires the ability to assemble and fabricate components to meet precise specifications. As a Tig Welder, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.

Responsibilities

Perform TIG welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards. Assemble and fabricate components according to engineering drawings and specifications. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to complete welding tasks. Conduct inspections of welds and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve processes. Document work performed and maintain accurate records of production activities.

Skills

Proficiency in TIG welding techniques, with experience in stick welding being advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications. Experience working with sheet metal, including fabrication and assembly processes. Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Basic maths skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately. Attention to detail, ensuring precision in all welding tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
